Polaris P955 Pool Cleaner - Poor Condition - Parts / Repair

Description

Up for sale, a Polaris P955 robotic pool cleaner.  This unit is NOT in functioning condition, it displays an error code of ER:10.  This is apparently a failure to communicate with the controller head according to a google search.  When scrolling through the menu's I can get it to "start" a cycle and I hear what sounds like a motor whirring for a few seconds.  (At no time do I see the wheels turn.).  After a few seconds it turns off and displays the error code.  If you are familiar with these, there might be a fix here.  This was thrown into a deal and I have zero love for this, it's big and ugly.
Additional notes: physical condition is fair to poor, it shows scrapes and scuffs from typical use.  Head controller appears in functioning condition, obviously the robot is NOT.  The remote may be dead, the batteries are good but I do not see any light turn on when I hit the "ON" button.
Lastly, there is no filter in the unit.
Comes as pictured, with rolling cart.  Original retail 49.
