Voltage to landing gear should be supplied using a 5V UBEC or 5V from your receiver. Exceeding 5 volts will void the warranty on the item and destroy the motor. Retracting the landing gear should only occur while off the ground, if the motor is torqued while landed, the gear can be destroyed.
